Sheriff Page can now contact registered users via telephone, email or text message. This service is free to the public, but they must register to furnish the information for the system to notify them.
Messages may include alerts about traffic accidents, school information, criminal information, floods, chemical spills, major fires, acts of terrorism, weather related emergencies and what actions to take in the situation.
The Sheriff has been using deputies, sirens, radio and tv stations to alert those in the county of information about their safety and well-being. Thus, deployment took manpower and time, which is so important in emergencies.
Sheriff Page is brining to the community a way to deliver important information instantly.
To register for this valuable service, go to http://cellcastalerts-mo.com and click on the green Camden County. You will fill out a simple form, which includes the means by which you would like to be notified.
